Technical Assistance – CFR's professional staff brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and commitment to all of our customers and clients. We are here to support you in a timely, professional manner and to listen to all of your needs and concerns. If we are unable to directly service you, we will support you until we connect you with the appropriate service(s) in our community of New Jersey.
Financial Assistance – You may qualify for financial assistance to help you pay for your child care.
DYFS (Division of Youth and Family Services) – DYFS is the regulatory agency for licensing child care centers in the state of New Jersey. If you have any concerns about child neglect or abuse in a center, call the Institutional Abuse Unit of DYFS at 800-215-6853. You may remain anonymous or ask that the call be confidential. For other concerns regarding a child care center you can call The Bureau of Licensing at (609) 292-1021.
*ACT -- Adults & Children Together - Against Violence Training Program is a train-the-trainer model. It is based on four decades of research by the American Psychological Association (APA) and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) with a national ad campaign by the AD Council.
It focuses on the adults who care for children ages 0-8. It covers topics such as:
- Discipline as it Relates to Child Development
- Cultural Diversity and Sensitivity
- Anger Management
- Social Problem Solving
- Media Literacy
ACT workshops will offer critical skills and life changing information.
